Challenge
DCI GO! is an initiative launched by Danish Creative Industries – a project that VOLCANO is heading in collaboration with Vækstfonden, Industriens Fond, and Lunar. The project is based on the huge unleashed potential of bringing creatives and investors together.
Approach
VOLCANO launched a series of six events to be conducted over a year, where creatives and investors can meet, learn from each other, and make plans for the future. The events take place in six different locations around Denmark, both big and small, to represent as much of Denmark's creative and cultural spheres as possible. Each DCI GO! event has a unique format, curated to benefit participating creative businesses. Through the events, we help match creative businesses with appropriate investors by coaching them in pitching, presenting, and networking. The highlight of each event is the pitch round, where participants have a chance to 'win' financial and other support from a panel of high-profile investors.
Volcano is the driver of Danish Creative Industries, leading every stage: research, conceptualization, administration, event planning and execution.
