Challenge
Danish football fans needed a communal, large-scale place to follow the national team's World Cup campaign together, beyond watching alone at home or in a crowded bar.
Approach
VOLCANO produced Fodboldfesten, a public screening event at Islands Brygge in Copenhagen, in partnership with TV2 and Fan Parks AS from Norway.
The event brought together large-scale screen production, crowd logistics, and programming to give the public a shared, festival-like way to watch the matches.
