Challenge
Royalties is a talent program for young entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural industries. Since 2011, VOLCANO has been providing the next generation with the tools needed to keep culture and creativity alive in their communities.
Approach
Royalties København provides young professionals in music with inspiration, tools and knowledge to navigate within the music industry – treating music as a profession and career path, not only artistic expression.
The 10-month program is built on four key elements: theory, practice, mentoring, and networking. Applicants are screened and selected each year; everyone from soloists and band members to producers, songwriters, bookers and managers can benefit from the course. Royalties Copenhagen is created by VOLCANO in collaboration with Royal Beer, with support from KODA.
